Yes. However the dosage is different for cats. Use 1/4 tsp. per 2lb. of body
weight.

Can I add Avimin Mineral Supplement for Birds to the previous day’s
water?
It is not recommended. Bird water should be changed daily. Vitamins start to
breakdown and become ineffective as well as bacteria will start to grow.
When I opened my bottle of Avitron® supplement, it was "gassy." Why?
Vitamin C breaks down as it ages and gives off gases.
Can I give Theralin® Tabs for Cats to my dog?
Yes, however the dosage is different for dogs.
Adult Dogs: 1 tablet per 10 lbs.
Puppies: 1 tablet per 5 lbs.
Pregnant, nursing and convalescing animals: Double dose, or as directed by your
veterinarian.

What’s the difference between Mother’s Helper® puppy and kitten
formulas?
Mother’s Helper kitten formula is higher in protein and lower in fat than the
puppy formula. Vitamin and mineral levels are also different.
How long will a can of Mother’s Helper® Mother’s Milk Replacer last?
Expiration dates are marked on all packages. Powder—approximately three years;
Liquid—approximately two years. Refrigerate liquid after opening/mixing.
Discard unused liquid within three days of opening to avoid possible bacterial
contamination.
How do I clean Mother’s Helper® Pet Nursing Bottles and nipples?
The bottles, nipples and caps can all be sterilized in boiling water.

Will Ear-Groom® Ear Wash kill mites in my pet’s ears?
No, this product is a cleanser. We suggest you use Lambert Kay® ’s Ear Rite
Insecticidal Ear Wash for Dogs.
After I administered Ear-Rite® Miticide, my cat had bubbles coming out
of his mouth. Why?
Cats may lick the excess product from their paws. Sometime bubbles will form at
the mouth.
Can I get ear mites from my dog?
No..
What color are ear mites?
Ear mites are white, making them very hard to identify.
I smell an odor from my dog’s ear. Is it an indication of ear mites?
Probably not. An odor from your dog’s ears could indicate an ear infection. We
suggest you contact your vet.
How do I know that my dog has ear mites?
Dogs with ear mites will shake their heads and vigorously scratch their ears.
Ear mites live in the ear canal where they cause a dark, reddish brown, waxy
debris to be formed. The mites can usually be seen by placing a small amount of
the debris on a black surface under a bright light. They will appear as small,
moving white specks.

Does Evict® Liquid Wormer work as a worm preventative?
Yes. For single strength administer 1 full teaspoonful for each 5 lbs. of body
weight, monthly. For double strength administer 1 full teaspoon for each 10
lbs., monthly.
Are puppies born with worms?
Worms are passed to the puppies from their mother and live in the intestinal
tract.
Can I give Evict® Liquid Wormer to a pregnant dog?
This product is safe to administer to a pregnant dog up until about two weeks
before puppies are due.

Can Pet Pectillin® diarrhea medication be used on lactating females?
Yes. However, have your veterinarian check for worms or another cause for the
diarrhea before administering this product.
What is polyethylene glycol (PEG)?
Polyethylene glycol 400 monosterate is an emulsifier approved by the FDA for
human as well as animal consumption. Emulsifiers enhance the “mouth feel” of
foods, and helps ShedRelief and many other Lambert Kay® nutritional supplements
to blend well with other pet foods.

Will FRESH ‘N CLEAN® flea & tick scented shampoo kill adult fleas
already on my dog?
Yes.
Will FRESH ‘N CLEAN® flea & tick scented shampoo kill flea eggs?
No. However, the product’s residual effect will weaken the fleas once the eggs
hatch.
How long does it take flea eggs to hatch?
Flea eggs take three to four weeks to hatch.
Can I use FRESH ‘N CLEAN® scented pet shampoo in combination with other
products?
Yes. This product works great with Fresh 'n' Clean® Scented Crème Rinse or Near
'n' Dear Shampoo.
Can be used on all cats?
No. It is not recommended for Persian cats.
How often can I use FRESH 'N CLEAN® baby powder scented pet shampoo on
my dog?
This product is formulated for everyday use. Use it as often as necessary.
Can Medi-Cleen® shampoo help control my dog’s body odor?
Yes, it aids in the relief of scaling dandruff, dermatitis, itching and dry
skin.
How often can I use Near ‘n’ Dear® shampoo for pets?
You can use this product as often as you would normally shampoo your dog.
Does 10 for 1® concentrated pet shampoo contain soap?
Our shampoo contains a surfactant agent which is a cleaning agent, not soap.
Will FRESH ‘N CLEAN®Oatmeal ‘N Baking Soda shampoo help with my dog’s
dry skin?
Yes. The oatmeal and aloe can help relieve dryness and irritation.
How often can I use Old Reliable® Oatmeal shampoo with aloe on my dog?
As often as you would normally shampoo your dog.
My dog’s white coat turned pink after using Polar White® shampoo. Why?
It’s possible that shampoos, conditioners, or insecticides that were used prior
to Polar White were to blame. To restore your dog’s white coat, repeatedly wash
your dog with a regular shampoo, preferably a stripping shampoo.
Can I use Sensitive Issue® Puppy Shampoo on my cats?
Yes.
Is Snowy Coat® White Coat Shampoo only for white coats?
No. This product works very will for light-colored and spotted coats as well.
Will FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Tearless Puppy Shampoo help with mats or tangles?
Yes. It’s pH-balanced and contains conditioners to promote manageability.

No. cats and ferrets groom themselves and this product adheres to coats.

Yes.
Is Pro-Groom® Coat Conditioner safe to use on my cat?
Yes. However, cats do not like to be sprayed with an aerosol. We recommend you
spray a comb or brush with this product and then use it on your cat.
Will Pro-Groom® Coat Conditioner dry out my pet’s skin?
No. In fact, when used year-round Pro-Groom helps avoid flaking and dryness.

How do FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Cologne Drops work?
The oil in the product migrates down the pet’s body.
My dog’s coat turned gray when I used FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Cologne Drops.
Why?
This product would not turn your dog’s coat gray. It’s possible that the oil
attracted dust causing your pet’s fur to get dirty. A quick shampoo should take
care of it.
My dog’s coat turned yellow when I used FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Cologne Drops.
Why?
Depending on what products were previously used on your pet, it is possible for
the oil in this product to cause a yellowing in a white coat. Use a gentle
shampoo like Lambert Key Tearless Puppy Shampoo and the sun will help bleach
out any yellowing.
Is Fresh ‘n’ Clean® Cologne Spray the same formula as FRESH ‘N CLEAN®
Pet Cologne?
FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Pet Cologne has been discontinued. FRESH ‘N CLEAN® Cologne
Spray is the same formula, but the name has been changed and two new scents
were added.
Will No Tangle® Pet Grooming Spray dry out my pet’s skin?
No. It leaves coats glossy and manageable without irritating the skin.

Is Boundary® safe to use around my children and animals?
As long as you follow label directions, this product is safe. We do recommend
waiting until this product is dry before children or pets are in the area you
sprayed.
I do not want to spray Boundary® directly on my couch. Is there
anything else I can do?
Yes, you may spray a clean cloth with Boundary and place the cloth on the
object or area to be protected – with wet side up, retreat as necessary.
Is Boundary® toxic?
No, Boundary is not toxic.
What are Boundary® granules made of?
The pellets are made of corn cob.
What if my pet eats some Boundary® granules?
A small amount ingested will not affect your pet.
Can I use Boundary® granules on my car to keep cats away?
No, we do not recommend using this product on your car.
Can I spray Boundary® on counter-tops in my kitchen?
Once you pre-test the material, be sure the counter surface is dry before
setting dishes or utensils on sprayed surfaces.

FRESH ‘N CLEAN® DAILY GROOMING SPRAY
Usage Instructions:
DO NOT WET THE PET WITH WATER. Spray on a dry coat, work it
into the coat, then towel the coat dry. Re-treat stubborn mats and soiled
area. For best results, be sure that the problem areas are saturated with
the spray. When completely dry, comb or brush the coat to remove loosened
dirt.
